  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, parsley, basil, and the beaten egg. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Mix everything together with your hands until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the meatballs tough.
  • Once mixed, shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
  • Cook the meatballs for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they’re golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the meatballs from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
