- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1 large egg, beaten
- to taste Salt and pepper
- for cooking Olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, parsley, basil, and the beaten egg. Season with salt and pepper.
- Mix everything together with your hands until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the meatballs tough.
- Once mixed, shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
- Cook the meatballs for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they’re golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the meatballs from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
