- 1 lb (450g) beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, minced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 2 carrots, thinly sliced
- 3 green onions, chopped
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the beef in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch for at least 10 minutes.
- Prepare the vegetables: slice bell pepper, broccoli, and carrots; chop green onions.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef and cook for 3-4 minutes without stirring, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining oil, garlic, and ginger; stir-fry for about 30 seconds. Add the vegetables and cook for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the skillet, add sesame oil, and toss everything together. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, adjusting seasoning as needed.
- Remove from heat, garnish with green onions, and serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
- For extra heat, add red pepper flakes.
- Feel free to substitute vegetables based on availability.
