Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye recommended)
- 4 medium potatoes (diced into small cubes)
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup broccoli (or any veggies you prefer)
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika (optional, for added flavor)
- for garnish fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Start by heating a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Once melted, add the diced potatoes. Cook for about 10-12 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy, stirring occasionally.
- While the potatoes are cooking, season your steak with salt, pepper, and paprika. After the potatoes are done, push them to one side of the skillet.
- In the same skillet, add the steak and sear it for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Adjust the cooking time based on your preference.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, stirring to combine the flavors.
- Finally, toss in the broccoli and the remaining butter. Cook until the broccoli is bright green and slightly tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy your delicious meal!
