- 1 pound sirloin steak (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 pound baby potatoes (halved)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- to taste Salt and pepper
- to garnish Fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- Start by heating a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and let it melt.
- Add the halved baby potatoes to the skillet, cut side down. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, until they are golden and crispy.
- While the potatoes are cooking, season the steak pieces with salt, pepper, and dried thyme.
- In a separate bowl, mix the minced garlic with the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Once the potatoes are crispy, push them to one side of the skillet and add the steak to the other side. Cook for about 3-4 minutes for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness.
- Pour the garlic butter mixture over the steak and potatoes. Stir everything together and let it cook for another minute or two to combine the flavors.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
