- 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped (for garnish))
- Red pepper flakes (optional, for a spicy kick)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Let it foam and then add the minced garlic.
- Allow the garlic to sauté for about 30 seconds, just until fragrant—be careful not to burn it!
- Add the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning them with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
- Once done, drizzle with fresh lemon juice and give everything a good toss in the buttery sauce.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes if you’re feeling adventurous.
