Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried))
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Wooden or metal skewers (if using wooden, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes)
Instructions
- Start by melting the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add in the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the parsley and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
- In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with half of the garlic butter mixture, ensuring they’re well-coated. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If you’re using wooden skewers, make sure they’re soaked.
- Thread the marinated shrimp onto the skewers, leaving space between each shrimp for even cooking.
- Place the skewers on the preheated grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, basting with the remaining garlic butter.
- Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and serve immediately, drizzling any remaining garlic butter on top!
