- 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb mixed seafood (shrimp, scallops, etc.)
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup white wine (or chicken broth)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions, salting the water. Reserve a cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
- In a large skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Add seafood and cook for 3-4 minutes until opaque.
- Pour in white wine, add red pepper flakes, and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in cooked pasta and a splash of reserved pasta water. Toss to combine.
- Finish with lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Serve garnished with parsley.
