- 1 medium head green cabbage
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Remove any wilted outer leaves from the cabbage and place it on a cutting board. Cut it into 1-inch thick slices.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Brush both sides of each cabbage steak with the garlic butter mixture.
- Arrange the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the edges are golden brown.
- Once cooked, remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
