Instructions

  • Start by cooking the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and tender.
  • Sprinkle in the dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together, allowing the flavors to meld for another minute.
  • Add the cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing until the pasta is well coated in the sauce. If it looks dry, add a splash of pasta water.
