Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup warm milk (110°F)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened (for brushing)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add melted butter and eggs to the yeast mixture. Stir until well combined.
- Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball.
- Arrange the dough balls in a greased baking dish. Cover and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, and parsley. Brush the garlic butter mixture over the rolls before baking.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
