  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare your grill for medium heat.
  • Remove the outer leaves from the cabbage and slice the head into 1-inch thick steaks.
  • In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika until well combined.
  • Brush both sides of each cabbage steak generously with the garlic butter mixture.
  • Arrange the steaks on a baking sheet or grill rack. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or grill for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Look for a golden brown color and tender texture. They should be slightly crispy on the edges.
