- 1 large head green cabbage
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare your grill for medium heat.
- Remove the outer leaves from the cabbage and slice the head into 1-inch thick steaks.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika until well combined.
- Brush both sides of each cabbage steak generously with the garlic butter mixture.
- Arrange the steaks on a baking sheet or grill rack. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or grill for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Look for a golden brown color and tender texture. They should be slightly crispy on the edges.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
