- 4 slices crusty bread
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: slices of tomato or spinach
Instructions
- Mix butter, minced garlic, and parsley in a bowl to create the garlic spread.
- Spread the garlic mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place two slices of bread, garlic side down.
- Layer cheese and any additional fillings on top of the bread in the skillet.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread, garlic side up.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
- Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until crispy and cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet, let cool slightly, cut in half, and enjoy!
