  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium bell pepper, diced
  • 14.5 ounces canned diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic, diced bell pepper, and ground beef. Cook until the beef is browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
  • Once the beef is browned, stir in the can of diced tomatoes and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Mix in the cooked bowtie pasta, ensuring it’s well coated with the sauce.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
