- 8 ounces bowtie pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium bell pepper, diced
- 14.5 ounces canned diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
- for garnish fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic, diced bell pepper, and ground beef. Cook until the beef is browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
- Once the beef is browned, stir in the can of diced tomatoes and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Mix in the cooked bowtie pasta, ensuring it’s well coated with the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
