- 1 medium head green cabbage (chopped)
- 6 slices bacon (chopped)
- 1 medium onion (sliced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)

Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until it's crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving about 2 tablespoons of grease in the skillet.
- Add the sliced onion to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes until it starts to soften.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute, taking care not to burn it.
- Add the chopped cabbage, stirring to combine, and cook for 8-10 minutes until wilted and tender.
- Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired, then stir in the cooked bacon.
