Instructions
- Melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the onions until caramelized (10-15 minutes).
- Stir in the rice to coat it in the butter and onion mixture.
- Add the beef broth, garlic powder, and onion powder; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes until the rice is tender.
- If using, stir in Gruyère cheese until melted.
- Season with salt and pepper, then serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
Notes
- For extra creaminess, feel free to add more butter or cheese.
