Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Wooden or metal skewers
  • Chopped green onions and sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
  • In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, honey, sriracha, minced garlic, and sesame oil.
  • Add shrimp to the marinade and let sit for 15-20 minutes.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Thread marinated shrimp onto the skewers, leaving space between each.
  • Grill skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  • Remove from grill and let rest for a minute before serving.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
