Feta Rolls with Spicy Chili Honey

Delicious feta rolls filled with creamy cheese and drizzled with spicy chili honey.

  • 8 oz feta cheese (crumbled)
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (like parsley, dill, or chives, chopped)
  • 1 package phyllo pastry sheets (about 20 sheets)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp chili flakes (or more to taste)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a medium bowl, combine the crumbled feta cheese, cream cheese, and chopped herbs. Mix until well blended, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Take one sheet of phyllo pastry and brush it lightly with melted butter. Layer another sheet on top and brush with butter again. Repeat this process until you have about 5 layers.
  • Place a generous spoonful of the feta mixture along one edge of the phyllo pastry. Roll it up tightly to form a log. Repeat with the remaining phyllo sheets and filling.
  • Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with more melted butter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • While the rolls are baking, prepare the spicy chili honey by combining honey and chili flakes in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until heated through and well mixed.
  • Once the rolls are done, drizzle the spicy chili honey over them before serving. Enjoy warm!
