Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder; then add softened butter until crumbly.
- Press two-thirds of the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread cherry pie filling over the crust.
- Top with remaining crust mixture and optional oats and cinnamon.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool for 15 minutes, cut into squares, and serve.
