Ingredients

  • 1 pound deer tenderloin
  • 10 large jalapeños
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package of bacon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and slice jalapeños in half.
  2. Season and sear the deer tenderloin in a skillet for 3-4 minutes per side, then chop it.
  3. Mix the chopped tenderloin with cream cheese and cheddar in a bowl.
  4. Spoon the mixture into the jalapeño halves and wrap with bacon if desired.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until jalapeños are tender and cheese is golden.

  • Adjust jalapeño spiciness by removing seeds.
