- 1 pound deer tenderloin
- 10 large jalapeños
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package of bacon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and slice jalapeños in half.
- Season and sear the deer tenderloin in a skillet for 3-4 minutes per side, then chop it.
- Mix the chopped tenderloin with cream cheese and cheddar in a bowl.
- Spoon the mixture into the jalapeño halves and wrap with bacon if desired.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until jalapeños are tender and cheese is golden.
Notes
- Adjust jalapeño spiciness by removing seeds.
- Bacon is optional but adds great flavor.
