- 3-4 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 6-8 pieces pepperoncini peppers
- 1 cup beef broth (optional for extra moisture)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Start by seasoning the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper.
- Place the seasoned roast in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the roast.
- Add the butter on top of the mixes.
- Place the pepperoncini peppers around the roast.
- Pour in beef broth, if using.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for about 4 hours.
- Shred the meat and stir into the sauce before serving.
