  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter ((1 stick))
  • 5 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley (chopped (for garnish))

Instructions

  • Start by placing the chicken breasts at the bottom of your crockpot.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour the garlic butter mixture over the chicken.
  • Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper on top.
  • Add chicken broth and lemon juice to the crockpot.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 4 hours. The chicken should be tender and easily shredded.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken right in the pot and mix it with the sauce.
  • Serve and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Enjoy!
