- 2 pounds of beef chuck roast
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 hamburger buns
- Optional: sliced jalapeños for heat
Instructions
- Season the beef roast with salt, pepper, and paprika, then sear in a skillet until browned.
- Layer sliced onions and minced garlic in the crockpot, place the meat on top, and add beef broth, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until tender.
- Remove the meat, shred it with forks, and return to the sauce.
- Assemble sandwiches with shredded meat on buns and add jalapeños if desired.
