Ingredients

- 3 to 4 pounds of pork roast (shoulder or loin works best)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 cups of low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon of dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon of paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetables of your choice (carrots, potatoes, or celery)
Instructions
- Pat the pork roast dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Optional: Sear the meat in a skillet over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Layer chopped onion and minced garlic in the crock pot, place the pork roast on top, and add broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and vegetables.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
- Shred the meat with two forks and mix it with the juices in the pot.

- Feel free to customize the vegetables based on your preference.
- For extra flavor, marinate the pork overnight in the seasonings.
