- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (for topping)
- Fresh berries and mint leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
- Slice the brioche bread into 1-inch thick slices.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt.
- Soak the bread slices in the custard mixture for about 5 minutes per side.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Arrange the soaked bread in a greased baking dish and bake for 25 minutes until golden.
- Sprinkle brown sugar on top and caramelize with a torch or by broiling briefly.
- Serve topped with fresh berries and mint leaves.
