These Crispy Shrimp and Cabbage Egg Rolls are deliciously filled and fried to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups of cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • Egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine shrimp, cabbage, carrot, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Place a spoonful of filling on an egg roll wrapper, fold the sides, and roll tightly. Seal edges with water.
  3. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Fry egg rolls for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown, in batches if necessary.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with a dipping sauce.
