Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup ground pork (or any protein of your choice)
- 1 cup finely chopped vegetables (like carrots, cabbage, and mushrooms)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic (minced)
- 1 package rice paper wrappers (about 10 sheets)
- Oil for frying
- Fresh herbs (like cilantro or mint for garnish)
- Optional dipping sauce (of your choice)
Instructions
- Start by mixing the ground pork, chopped vegetables, soy sauce, sesame oil, and garlic in a bowl. Combine them well.
- Soak a rice paper sheet in warm water for about 10 seconds until it’s pliable. Lay it flat on a clean surface.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of the filling mixture in the center of the rice paper.
- Fold the sides over the filling, then roll it up tightly from the bottom. Repeat with remaining sheets.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the dumplings for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
