- 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 pieces eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
- as needed Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken breasts by pounding them to an even thickness.
- Set up a breading station with flour, eggs, and a mixture of breadcrumbs and Parmesan.
- Dip chicken in flour, then egg, and finally in breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat oil in a skillet and fry the chicken until golden brown on both sides.
- Transfer cooked cutlets to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Serve immediately.
