- 1 lb chicken breast (diced)
- 1 cup crispy fried onions
- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- Toppings (lettuce, cheese, salsa, etc.)
Instructions
- Start by heating the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the diced chicken to the skillet, and season it with taco seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Once the chicken is cooked, use a spatula to smash it down slightly in the pan, allowing it to brown a bit.
- Sprinkle the crispy fried onions over the chicken and let them warm up for about 2 minutes.
- Warm the tortillas in a separate pan for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Assemble the tacos by placing the chicken mixture on the tortillas and adding your favorite toppings.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
