- 2 large chicken breasts (sliced into cutlets)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs (beaten)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko recommended for extra crunch)
- 1/2 cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Prepare your chicken cutlets by slicing them evenly and pounding them to a uniform thickness.
- Set up a breading station with flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs in a third.
- Coat each cutlet in the flour mixture, dip in the egg, and then coat with breadcrumbs, pressing them on.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Carefully place the cutlets in the hot oil, cooking for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Remove cutlets from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Drizzle hot honey over the cutlets before serving.
