- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 12 taco shells
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup salsa
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Sauté diced onion and minced garlic in a skillet for 3 minutes, then add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Drain excess fat, add taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Fill taco shells with the beef mixture and place them in a baking dish.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and taco shells are golden brown.
- Cool slightly, then top with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to customize toppings as per your preference.
- Make sure not to overfill the taco shells to prevent spilling.
