- 12 large shells pasta shells
- 2 cups fresh spinach (chopped (or 1 cup frozen, thawed and drained))
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1/4 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- Fresh basil (for garnish (optional))
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Stuff each shell with the spinach and cheese mixture and place them in the baking dish.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
