- 8 ounces fettuccine (or your favorite pasta.)
- 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined.)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic (minced.)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated.)
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
- Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish.)
Instructions
- Start by cooking your pasta according to package instructions. Make sure to salt the water for flavor. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, but be careful not to burn it.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and more Parmesan if desired!
