  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 (9 oz) package cheese tortellini
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the cooked chicken and half of the Parmesan cheese, stirring until well combined.
  • Next, add the tortellini to the skillet, gently mixing it into the creamy sauce.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Top with the remaining Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
