  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in the orzo and chicken broth, bringing it to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and let it simmer for 10 minutes or until the orzo is cooked al dente.
  • Once the orzo is cooked, stir in the heavy cream, lemon zest, lemon juice, and Parmesan cheese. Let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes until creamy.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
