  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, oregano, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to mix until just combined.
  • Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. You should get around 20 meatballs.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the meatballs in batches.
  • Cook for about 5-6 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides.
  • Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the heavy cream, chicken broth, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir until combined.
  • Return the meatballs to the skillet, cover, and let simmer for about 10-12 minutes until the sauce thickens and the meatballs are cooked through.
  • Serve the meatballs hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
