  • 8 ounces pasta (fettuccine or penne works well)
  • 2 pieces chicken breasts (diced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (chopped (for garnish))

Instructions

  • Start by cooking the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 6-8 minutes until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
  • Add the sunflower seeds and cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the creamy sauce.
