- 8 ounces pasta (fettuccine or penne works well)
- 2 pieces chicken breasts (diced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley (chopped (for garnish))
Instructions
- Start by cooking the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 6-8 minutes until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
- Add the sunflower seeds and cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the creamy sauce.
