  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika, then add them to the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
  • Add the rice to the skillet and stir well, letting it toast for about 2 minutes.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  • Add the heavy cream, dried thyme, and return the chicken to the skillet. Cover and reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the rice is tender.
  • Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
