  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Start by cooking the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour in the heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and combined. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of pasta water.
  • Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce and shrimp, tossing to coat evenly.
