- 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups fresh spinach (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Place them in a baking dish.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir until blended, then add the Parmesan cheese.
- Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken breasts. If using spinach, scatter it over the top.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
- Let it cool for a few minutes, then sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
