- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 unit lemon, juiced
- 1/2 unit lemon, zested (optional)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken until browned on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. Pour heavy cream into the skillet, scraping up brown bits from the bottom.
- Add peas, dill, lemon juice, and zest. Stir and simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve warm, garnished with extra dill.
