- 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by heating the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Place the chicken in the skillet and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to low. Add the Dijon mustard, heavy cream, and garlic powder. Stir until well combined.
- Let the sauce simmer for about 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
