  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (preferably at room temperature)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (adjust based on your spice preference)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, but highly recommended)
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
  • Add in the Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine and let it cook for another minute.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir continuously until the mixture is well combined and begins to simmer.
  • Once simmering, reduce the heat to low and add the Parmesan cheese (if using). Stir until melted.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. If you like it spicy, feel free to add more Cajun seasoning!
  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
