- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- to taste Salt and pepper
- to garnish Fresh parsley, chopped
- to taste red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Start by cooking the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- While the pasta cooks, season the sliced chicken breast with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook until browned and cooked through (about 6-8 minutes). Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and let the sauce thicken for about 3-5 minutes.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and mix until well combined. Add the cooked pasta and toss everything together until the pasta is coated with the creamy sauce.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.
