Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz pasta of your choice (Fettuccine or penne work great.)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz burrata cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (Optional.)
Instructions
- Start by cooking your pasta according to package instructions. Make sure to salt the water generously for flavor. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water for later.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it!
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until it’s melted and combined.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy sauce. If the sauce seems too thick, add a little reserved pasta water until you reach your desired consistency.
- Finally, tear the burrata cheese into pieces and gently fold it into the pasta. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil and additional Parmesan if desired. Enjoy your creamy burrata pasta!
