A rich and creamy pasta dish featuring tender broccoli and a delicious homemade Alfredo sauce.

  • 8 oz fettuccine or your favorite pasta
  • 2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: crushed red pepper flakes for a kick

Instructions

  • Start by cooking the pasta according to the package instructions. Make sure to salt the water for flavor.
  • In the last 3-4 minutes of cooking the pasta, add the broccoli florets to the pot.
  • While the pasta and broccoli are cooking, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until it melts into the sauce.
  • Once the pasta and broccoli are done, drain them and add them to the skillet. Toss everything together until well coated.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
