A delicious fusion of creamy carbonara and ramen, topped with crispy bacon.

  • Total Time: 30

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 packages instant ramen noodles
  • 4 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional for spice)

Instructions

  • Start by cooking the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. This usually takes about 5-7 minutes. Remove the bacon and set it on a paper towel to drain.
  • Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Reduce the skillet’s heat to low. Add the drained ramen noodles to the skillet with the garlic and bacon. Pour the egg mixture over the noodles, stirring quickly to combine.
  • Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly to ensure the sauce coats the noodles evenly. If it’s too thick, add a splash of pasta water.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes, if desired.
