Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

- Add sugar gradually, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt; add to wet ingredients and mix gently.
- Pour batter into the pan and bake for 50-60 minutes; check with a toothpick for doneness.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
