Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese and butter in a bowl until smooth (2-3 minutes).
  4. Add sugar gradually, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
  5. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt; add to wet ingredients and mix gently.
  6. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 50-60 minutes; check with a toothpick for doneness.
  7. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
