  • 1 package of phyllo dough (thawed)
  • 8 oz brie cheese, cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll phyllo dough, cover with a damp towel, and brush each layer with melted butter.
  3. Cut layered phyllo into 3×3 inch squares, place brie, cranberry sauce, and nuts in the center.
  4. Fold corners over filling, pinching to seal, and brush tops with melted butter.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let cool, garnish with herbs if desired, and serve.
