- 3 medium apples (peeled, cored, and diced)
- 1 cup fresh cranberries (or frozen)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup butter (melted)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, cranberries, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- In another bowl, mix the rolled oats, melted butter, and chopped nuts.
- Sprinkle the oat mixture over the fruit layer in the baking dish.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
