  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, cranberries, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  • In another bowl, mix the rolled oats, melted butter, and chopped nuts.
  • Sprinkle the oat mixture over the fruit layer in the baking dish.
  • Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.
